Cargo Insurance:

“By air, sea, or land, our insurance is always by your side.”

This insurance covers cargo transported by land, air, sea, or any combination of these against risks arising from accidents, damage, and criminal acts to which goods in transit are exposed within and outside the Mexican Republic.

• For air, land, or combined transportation, ordinary transit risks covered include total or partial theft of cargo, and exclusively damages caused by fire, lightning, or explosion; as well as aircraft crashes, spontaneous combustion, collision, overturning, derailment, sinking, or bridge collapse.
• For maritime transport, ordinary transit risks cover material damage caused by fire, lightning, or explosion; grounding, sinking, or collision of the vessel; total loss of packages falling overboard during loading and unloading operations; general average charges and salvage expenses.

For any mode of transportation, the policy may be extended to cover damages caused by strikers, capture, seizure, confiscation, appropriation or nationalization and their consequences, as well as barratry of the captain or crew in the case of maritime transport.
